A nice little participation trophy from the recording academy. The real trophies get handed out next month 🤞🏻@aaronjdiehl @theknightsnyc A very special evening! Thank you @pghsymphony @psomusicians for a beautiful performance, and for inviting me onstage to speak about my arrangement to a near-capacity crowd at Heinz Hall. The PSO did so much for me as a young musician, and it was an honor to give a little something back. ✨📯 That's a wrap on this year's @worksandprocess presentation of Peter and the Wolf and Third Bird, both the brainchildren of @johnheginbotham and @imisaacmizrahi - two of the most generous and creative artists I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My office for the next two weeks! Thrilled to conduct works of Prokofiev and Nico Muhly with @danceheginbotham @ensemble.connect with narration, direction, and costume design by the great @imisaacmizrahi From a past Halloween, not knowing I would join an ensemble called The Knights some 25 years later. (Dracula is my brother Jon) 👻🎃🦇 That's a wrap for this tour with @theknightsnyc and the phenomenon that is @christhile! Last stop on the @theknightsnyc tour: a matinee at Bailey Hall on the beautiful Cornell University campus. Also pictured is our expert live sound engineering team who play an integral part in realizing Chris's piece "ATTENTION!" After a triumphant night at Carnegie, the @theknightsnyc tour continues in Worcester at the incredible Mechanics Hall - an acoustical gem so good it is immortalized in an Altiverb preset (iykyk) Today is the day!!! Bringing the NYC premiere of ATTENTION! by @christhile and a new work by Curtis Stewart to our hometown audience at Zankel Hall, kicking off our residency.
